This seems like a worthwhile purchase. Not sure how much you can actually learn from a DVD but it certainly gives me plenty to think about each time I go surfing. Easy to recommend but remember to practice as well!!

Great DVD with stuff I've never heard before about technique and can't wait to try. Some of it gets a bit too advanced but all in all very worth the price. For the best progress, watch this video several times.

Great DVD. Took in down to Cornwall and tried a few things at a time over the course of the week, just as the DVD says. I found the basics were brilliant. For instance, "stick the whitewater newbie" was great advice for me trying to get out back on a log! Needless to say I stopped and had a whole lot more fun!

I am slightly dissapointed by this DVD , i was hoping for a little more detail on the beginners level, also the sound quality on the narrator is very poor and some of the video footage could be better quality, a good basic DVD but not fantastic.

Very complete and thorough including intermediate moves, I'm impressed. Wish there were more slow-motion images for studying critical aspects like duck diving, bottom turns, etc, but I suppose it's possible to slow it down myself with the viewing software on my computer. Looking forward to applying the lessons to my surfing.

The DVD menu is not very well done. The chapters for intermediate lessons are not directly viewable. You have to watch the beginner section to access to intermediate one.
Movies are good, slow motion ok and the use of signs is a good idea.

I have been surfing for 4 years and there's little things that im not doing right and this has explained it, i can not wait to go out there and put it all into practice. The DVD does not play in my DVD player, only on my computer. It was advertised as a DVD, not a CD-ROM but I really couldn't be bothered sending it back. I'll just buy it in a shop from now on.
