The scaled up dimensions increase the overall foam volume, providing additional paddle power and stability, while still maintaining the plan shape and rocker profile required to surf at the highest level. The perfectly proportioned foil through the nose and tail, and a neutral rounded squash tail combine to produce lightning fast response. The AF2 Turbo SLX is another favorite with the Aloha team riders offering pro level performance with a touch more forgiveness. From small junky beach breaks to pitching hollow power, this board is fast, lively and should be considered the backbone to a high performance shortboard quiver. Construction:SLX construction produces a controlled flex pattern by combining the versatility of epoxy materials with the added advantage of reduced weight. All SLX boards have an EPS core with a high-grade timber stringer, which is laminated by hand using epoxy resign, biaxial fiberglass and a specialized construction process. Featuring a high strength-to-weigh ratio, and designs CNC milled directly from the shapers files. SLX boards feel light, responsive and are very sensitive under your feet. Runs smoother than bintang, forgiving and can take a bit of abuse. I personally don't understand why anyone wouldn't use this board for medium sized waves

Outstanding board, didn't want it til Dan advised me it was the best for my ability and surf - he was spot on!! took it to indo and had a ball. I'm 70kg experienced intermediate who surfs only a few times a year and this is now my no.1 board!!
