Very much designed for the first time surfer (or anyone thinking about learning) this film pretty much covers all the basics step by step, from choosing a board, paddling, popping up, basic rules of the water etc in slightly over 30 minutes of tuition with world champ Andy Irons.
It's a solid alternative to your first lesson or a great head start if you're about to learn to surf - but beware the manufacturers write up (below) says "while surfers of all skill levels will find helpful tips on surfing better" which in our opinion simply isn't the case - this is really for first time surfers...

I know, I know learining to surf from a dvd is criminal but still you'd expect a little effort in pleasing the customer, I thought it didn't come to much, except maybe making me get out and just do it.

Disappointed as it was very short - I hoped it would go a bit further than basic beginners stuff that I have learne from lessons. And not as funny as suggested in the advert. I thought it was expensive for what it was.
