The 5mm winter wetsuit is the most popular thickness for the UK, most surfers use the 5mm wetsuit year round, combining it with a hood, gloves and boots as needed when the water gets really cold at the start of the year.
The Hot Wired wetsuit is the flag ship of C-skins range and boasts many features not found elsewhere which combine in a top spec' winter wetsuit.
The QuickDri Polypro is thicker than standard lining offering more insulation and it dries more quickly, helping you get back into your suit faster for the second session of the day.
Airloc is C-skins name for the neoprene on the torso panels which has air chambers sandwiched between the slick outer layer and fluffy polypro lined inside layer, this gives an extra layer of insulating air where you need it most over the core of your body.
Stitchless Powerseams are something that you're likely to see more of in the next couple of seasons, the seam bonded through a "triple fusion process", we couldn't tell you exactly how this works but we have used the suits and can say that the lack of stitches make a more flexible and watertight seal that retains the strength of the usual blind stitched seam.
The enigma front zip system has the front zip panel separate to the underlying panels which you climb in and out of, this means there's no need to put a seam over one shoulder which gives you more freedom to move when paddling and when getting in and out of the suit.
Future Fit is C-Skins attempt to make a better fitting wetsuit for today's surfer, they've looked at the sizing of surfers and designed the suit to fit, the idea is to give you more movement in the arms for paddling and keep a snug fit. Have a good look at the size chart to see what size is best for you, bare in mind that it might be different from a previous C-skins wetsuit that you have since they've updated the sizing.
The wetsuit is a 5/4/3mm, the 5mm panels are in the torso and the legs and the 4mm are in the arms with 3mm panels under the arms to make sure you get maximum flexibility for paddling.

So far so good. Really warm and decent amount of flexibility. The chest entry is a little tight and takes some getting used to but other then that it is very good. The quick dry is impressive and althought I'm not convinced it will be dry in 15 minutes it is a lot easier to put back on then a wetsuit without this material.
