Most travel dings are going to be on the nose and tail of your board. If you watched baggage handlers throw your bag onto the tarmac while you're strapped into your seat you'll be doing everything you can to pack carefully.
The ding all guard fits over the nose and tail of your boards (there's a two board and a three board model) and inflates giving a huge amount of protection.

Valves kept popping open and seemed hard enough to actually put a ding in your board! Did not feel confident to use this so returned it.
