I'll be honest when we first saw these we thought they were a bit of a gimmick. But having tried one out it's a first class product.

Basically you've got a tough waterproof changing mat, get out of the suit, pull the string and you've got a waterproof wetsuit bag.

If you do the sums the mat costs just £14.99 - your winter wetsuit probably cost more than £200 - so do you really want to be treading it into the gravel at the local car park? Highly recommended...

keeps your feet tidy, true. but would be only really good if it would be a waterproof bag, but it is not! so the wetsuit and stuff inside the moon bag has to be put into another waterproof bag! bad concept.

My last one lasted about 4 years of regular use, so pretty good value, but the lining does eventually break-down. Not really waterproof so don't put it straight into the boot unless you want your car to smell of pee... too much info?

Works well as a changing mat and westuit bag. It lets a tiny bit of water out but none worth worrying about. I also use mine folded into a strip as a transition mat in triathlon as it's yellow and stands out in the transition area. It's great for getting my kids changedwhen they're on the beach as i was rinse the sand off their feet and stand them on the mat....no whining about sandy feet when they're getting dressed and all the wet stuff just gets wrapped up in the bag...perfect!

Only minor quibble is that the bag doesn't fully close once you have your wetsuit etc in it, but it does the job well otherwise.

Nice idea - poorly executed. The pad on the bottom of the bag (not sure why the pad is required as it is too small to be of real use when standing on it) is stitched on through the waterproof material, so water seeps through it. Probably good for a short time but I left it for an hour or so and a wet patch formed underneath. Got a replacement and it was exactly the same, major design flaw in my opinion. MSW were great and refunded my money no hassle, will definatley use MSW again.

moonbags are bloody brilliant there is no need to be snobby about it and say you are a real surfer because you stand around on the cold wet ground all year to get changed! grab one of these bags and make your life eisier. you can leave it full of all your wetsuit boots and gloves and know you can rush out the door at a minutes notice when the waves are good. and its better than standing on dog sh*t on the edge of a road somewhere before sneaking in for a dawn sesh.take my word for it and buy one.

Having just bought a wetsuit, I wanted to make sure that a) my car stayed dry and b) the suit didn't get damaged as I got changed in a gravelly car park. The design is great; sturdy base means no stone bruises, nor damage to suit or bag and my boot was bone dry, even after a 2 hr drive home. For a fraction of the cost of a suit, there's no question to the value of this bag.

Not tried using it for real yet,only tested it in the office. Material was harder than I had expected but then again, probably need to be quite tough for outdoor use and for it not to fly around on the beach. The drawstring can be improved - it doesnt close that easily, nor that completely. Idea is good. I showed it to my friend who manufactures surf gear and she thought it was ace idea.

After using this several times I can safely say that I am impressed with this bag. My only gripes are that sometimes one of the toggles comes off, and sometimes when the bag is full the strap comes off and needs to be popped back in. These are only minor issues however for what is otherwise a very useful bag and very reasonably priced as well.
