Description

The new style GoPro surf mount is smaller than the original, it's still got enough area to stick securely but it means that you can mount it further up the board where there's more rocker and not have issues removing the clip from it when it's not in use.

You get two mounts in the pack.

Qhi, does the floaty back door work with the hero 3 cameras? second,does a silver edition work in the surf with proper surfboard mounts? thank you
AYes, the backdoors of the HD Hero 2 & 3 housings are interchangeable so you can use the floaty back door on either housing. All housings use the same connection points on the bottom so they can be used with any of the GoPro mounts. so the Silver edition will work with the surfboard mounts for surfing.
QDoes the surfboard mounts fit the GoPro Hero 3? Also do you know when the Hero 3 wrist strap is available? Thanks and Merry Christmas! Craig
AThe Surfboard mounts are compatible with the new Hero 3 cameras, we don't have a date for the release of the Hero 3 wrist strap yet.

Attached quickly and easily and it's going nowhere, very secure, the black clip is a little stiff as the board has a bit of rocker at the nose which bends the mount slightly but it comes out with a bit of encouragement, less likely to come off in the sea though I guess.
