A short wide fun shape for the surfer who is often faced with weak waves and wants a board with loads of volume that isn't as cumbersome as bigger models.
If you're a UK based surfer and you want to make the most of every swell it's important to have a small wave option, the Pier Pony gives you a fun board which will revitalise your summer surfing experience.
Please note photos are from JS Industries and stock boards might have different decals
The "Pier Pony" is by far the most directional small wave board ever released by JS.
Specifically built for really weak and boring waves, the Pier Pony will make those lousy surf days a whole lot of fun.
The constant flow of Vee running from the nose entry through to the tail compliments the flattest rocker in the JS range. This vee creates quick transitions from rail to rail enabling you to gather speed through the weakest and flattest sections.
JS has left a lot of volume throughout the board with a flat deck and full rail, making sure you are hovering over every section and avoiding any bog down time.
It might sound extreme but we recommend you ride this board 8- 10 inches shorter than norm

Flat Tail Rocker - good for maintaining speed. Performs well in medium sized surf and can handle hard fast turns.
Flat Nose Rocker - best rocker for creating speed and glide. Suits small weak conditions.
Slight vee creates amazing rail to rail capabilities and also straightens the rail line for speed - good for small waves. Vee double concave under feet creates slight lift reducing drag.
