QIs it waterproof enough to wear surfing?
AShort answer no. We've done it and got away with it and so have other customers but to resist the amount of pressure possible wiping out in the surf you need a reasonable level of waterproofing and these watches are really 'splash proof'. If you do want to risk it definitely wear it under the wetsuit cuff.

Would prefer to give no stars. Although watch was cheap, it broke within 2 days of wear. Replacement was sent which broke again within 2 days of wear

Does de job, however after one week wearing it (not in the water yet) the strap holder has broken, not cool.... will try it on my next surf, I hope it survives.

Doesn't deserve any star rating, strap broke within 3 hours of wearing it and buttons jam in. rubbish, no wonder it was so cheap. So cheap it isn't worth the hassle of sending back. Shame as MSW has always supplied quality gear in the past.

I wore the first watch I got twice under my wetsuit and it worked fine after, unfortunately in under a week the strap snapped. MSW replaced straight away no questions asked great service. The second one I got let water in the first time I wore it in the sea and the second time I wore it, it died completely. Nice watch but no good for surfing sadly : (

Looks good - Present for my dad who has a thing about watches - should enjoy this one - He's never had a surfing watch before and never had one that says "sort of Waterproof" - He will enjoy I'm sure. all he needs to do now is get his boardy's on and get out in the waves B-)
