I've been surfing for quite a while, but was after some info on how different longboard shapes and fin set ups perform. This book is a great intro to surfing and had some of the info I was after. I am still trying to find something with a bit more technical stuff, but overall the book is well worth the price, especially if you are standing up but want to take your surfing a bit further.

it all seems to easy in a book. out in the water is always a different story. but with the knowledge acquired from this book..in the water is alot easier.

self taught longboarder as i am i thiught this book would tell me very little. how wrong a must have for any longboarder, gets you out better makes you think about set up, moving on the boarde and doing something elses other than standing on the thing. nice bit of history of the progression og=f longboard design and why. spend a few quid and support the weed.
