Description

THE ROCKET - The REAL board that started a Revolution! Originally shaped as a 5'3" for Shane's young son Noah by former ...Lost shaper and pro surfer Noah Budroe. The board features a wide forward outline with round forgiving rails, flat deck and a wide "rocket" tail. The rocker is extremely low in the entry, for instant speed, with an exaggerated kick in the tail for tight arcs out of turns.

An average wave all-rounder that can be effectively ridden 4" to 6" shorter, 1/8" thinner, and just slightly wider than your normal short board without sacrificing any carve or drive.

Hundreds of imitations, but duplicated by none. Everyone deserves to have an original Rocket in their quiver.

The ...Lost Rocket must be just about the most ripped off board in history and that speaks volumes to it's popularity. Principally it's that flat entry rocker, the board just flies in the most average of conditions making it a perfect 'go to' shortboard particularly here in the UK.

Our boards are all hand shaped original ...Lost Rockets - why settle for imitations.

(NB. Matt Biolos doesn't describe the Lost Rocket as a full on groveller - it'll go in some pretty average waves but for the true grovel version check out the Lost Motivator)

The board is supplied with a thruster set of three FCS M5 fins, the colour of the Lost logo varies across sizes.

About Lost

Lost began in 1985 when Matt Biolos and a bunch of school friends were into snowboarding at Mt. Baldy, skateboarding at the Pipeline in Upland, and surfing in Dana Point. They weren't too worried about winning this football game or that contest. They were "team lost". Thus the name '...lost' scribbled on books, t-shirts, benches, tables and eventually clothing.

Atleast in under headhigh im really happy with this board feels really responsive and am glad i went for the bigger size as the kick in the tail gives you the best of both worlds, particularly as i just came off a high volume fish. In bigger waves it still seems to go well although the surf a bit of a mess when i tried it in this size so will need to wait for a better day to truly know how it feels. Was expecting a red logo but pink and purple will do haha
