Description

Why our wax? Our wax is the only non-toxic, biodegradable, petroleum free, no synthetic chemicals, eco-friendly surf wax, made using local ingredients in California. We strive for environmental quality and ethics in our business by making ecologically friendly surf products that do not have negative effects on our environment. We do not outsource our production or ingredients to other countries. We get our ingredients from local farms, straight from the source in their purest and most raw forms. We do not use chemicals, or additives in our wax. Matunas wax is 100% Natural Surf Wax.

Does it work the same as other waxes? Our wax remains sticky and tacky during surf sessions, and applies easily with instant bumps providing excellent traction. A square mold is used, which has a diagonal breakaway which makes it easy to break into two triangle bars. Years of research and development have gone into developing Matunas, and we wouldn't have the support from our team riders if Matunas wax didn't work.

real good wax, I just returned from a trip to NZ and brought a board back with me, I stripped all the warm water wax from it and rewaxed it with Matunas, went on really well. Smells good too!!

Easy to get to build up into lil'humps. Pretty good stuff. Prob more "eco friendly" if not flown/shipped from California tho! :-)

Doesn't seem to go on very well, doesn't form nice bumps and seems to stick to itself. I do like the eco friendly aspect soi will give it another go next time I replace wax
