Description

Aquaseal permanently bonds, seals and waterproofs hundreds of materials. This unique formula is the industry standard for maximum bond strength, abrasion resistance, flexibility and waterproofing. Physically, Aquaseal is a high viscosity gel that cures to an extremely elastic, clear urethane rubber. Since it is a thermoset urethane, cured Aquaseal is impervious to solvents (such as gasoline) or extremes of heat and cold (-40F to +400F).

Aquaseal is ideal for bonding neoprenes, fabrics, latex, trilaminates, PVC, Hypalon, natural and synthetic leather, foams, composites and many plastics. This specialized formula is ideal for sealing stitching and reinforcing high stress areas on wet suits, dry suits, Hypalon and PVC boats and hundreds of other items. Aquaseal also makes an ideal abrasion patch for high wear areas such as knees, seats and luggage bottoms. Seals and repairs made with Aquaseal generally last the life of the item.

For most applications the surface to be treated need only be clean. For new materials and difficult bonding surfaces such as latex, vinyls and composites, prepare the surface by wiping with solvent (such as Cotol-240) and abrading with sandpaper or other suitable abrasive. Aquaseal will cure to full strength in 8 to 12 hours. To speed cure time to 2 hours, premix 1 part Cotol-240 with 2 or 3 parts Aquaseal before applying. Additional Cotol-240 can be added to thin Aquaseal to a desired viscosity.

This is much better gear than the old Black Witch.Its clear, more liquidy and absorbs into the neoprene better,and dries super stretchy.You could get years more out of your suit with this stuff.

Used this to repair the chest panel on my Xcel Infiniti Drylock (5/3). It had started getting leaky and the panel isn't very well bonded to the rest of the suit. A nice bead of Aquasure and the thing is perfectly water tight.

Bought this glue for the second time. Really perfect, if you apply a thick coat of glue to the wetsuit, it seems to hold it forever (well, at least for over a year since I first used it).

Very good glue! Used it to seal and rebuild the inside of my Xcel knee pad and to stick a patch of thin neoprene. Very good result. Works also insane to repair fin cuts definitely as this glue is flexible. I recommend!

Holed me Excel suit 3 times by spiking meself with me fins when i've wiped out. This stuff is brilliant. Lie suit flat, drop it on and leave over night. Dries hard but flexible and you can barely see the repair.
