If you're surfing big waves or in situations where a breakage would mean serious damage to your board (heavy reef break) or you're travelling and don't want to pack too many spares the jumbo hand tied leash is the pick.
Hand tied means that instead of the swivel constructed of two interlocking parts the cord is tied to a brass swivel. This eliminates the weak point and basically, short of the cord itself breaking your board isn't going anywhere!

Detachable Velcro Board Fixing
Probably the neatest feature with the O+E system is you don't need to tie the leash, just push the loop through the leash plug and it velcros back in - totally bomb proof and cool if you've got a comp leash for the smaller days - of change boards alot.
