These well made Ocean & Earth soft racks are designed to safely attach surfboards to almost any car with four doors or will work through the front doors and hatch at a push.
The straps holding the rack to the car AND the straps holding the boards to the rack are both integral so you don't need to buy extra straps.

QHi not really a question, but a tip for the guy suffering with the straps humming, before tightening the straps down twist the strap once and leave it twisted,this will stop the humming noise.

I have a VW passat with side roof rails fitted , can it attach to them ?
ANo, this needs to attach to the actual roof of the car.
QCan you buy longer straps for these racks? (the top one is a bit short for boards in bags.....)
ANo, the straps are attached to the roof rack and only come in one length.

AYes, you will need to either attach the rear roof rack through the boot or rear windows if they open.
QAre the soft racks suitable for transportation on a motorway?

I am trying to get hold of some soft racks that I can use for a new Stand up paddeling board I want to buy.
They will not be used for long transport only short distances. Can you recomend something?
