ShippingAll orders placed before 2pm will be in the post same day, after that and it will be the next day. Orders placed after 2pm on a friday will get sent out on the following monday. Postage and Packaging CostsWe only charge you what it costs us to process and ship your order. The shipping total is displayed on the right of the screen at all times once you've added an item to your cart - though if you're not in the UK you'll need to click 'Edit Cart' and change your country to see the correct total. Being up front on postage costs means there are no nasty surprises and you don't need to give us any personal information to find out the total cost of an order.UK OrdersGenerally we use first class post or Parcel Force so if you're in mainland UK you should get your order the day after posting, though this depends on the Royal Mail and first class isn't a guaranteed next day service.Bulky and high value items will be sent by Courier or Royal Mail Special Delivery so that we can confirm your order has reached its delivery address and who has signed for it, These items have the benefit of being shipped on a guaranteed next day service, This can also be added to any order you wish to place with us if you need your order ASAP. You can check online at anytime to see if your order has been sent. If it doesn't arrive with two (working) days please give us a shout. International Orders (Including Ireland)Most deliveries are sent First Class Airmail, the time taken depends on the destination but is generally less than five days, sometimes just two days. Orders outside the EUWe're happy to ship anywhere in the world but please be aware orders outside the EU maybe subject to customs inspection. This can in some cases delay their arrival - because of this we can't offer a replacement on missing items for 28 days or until you've contacted customs to establish an item isn't being held. We are required to attach a customs label with the value of the goods and they might be subject to import duties. Please check this before you order. Note on VAT All our prices include applicable UK sales taxes. If you are in a region where these don't apply then you won't see this on your invoice but we will still charge the same full retail price (because although you're not required to pay the sales tax we still have to pay it on our stock - so the net receipt for us is identical).
Lost OrdersUnfortunately orders do go missing in the post. If your order is not with you in a two working days for UK orders or a week in the EU please get in touch. If it's a first class UK dispatch we'll send a prompt replacement after 10 working days. The same in the EU after 28 working days. Lost orders make a tiny fraction of the many deliveries acheived next day after ordering but we reckon it's best to be honest and straight forward up front. This doesn't affect your statutory rights. |
