Craig Steyck has had an ongoing influence on the surfing world but with the release of Dog town and Z-boys his role in the development of skateboard culture (and it's subsequent influence on surf design) has become clear to a whole new audience. This book accompanies an exhibition at the Laguna Art Museum exploring a century of surfboard design and related art of which Craig was guest curator.
Designed by David Carson (influential in the styling of every modern surf corp. through his work with quik and major surf mags) the result is a visual guide to the history of surfing.
