Sutsu is based on a simple philosophy... to have a positive effect on everything it touches whether that's you, the riders, wearing the clothes, the workers creating them or the environment that gives us the raw materials. The plan is to create clothes that people will love only using sustainable or organic materials and to use some of the fruits of our labour to support the communities we care about.

The festival of Sutsu (or Shitsu) Upanaka is the climax of the Japanese annual ritual cycle, in effect it marks the changing of the seasons, and in the light of this knowledge it seemed appropriate as a name for a boardsport label with a positive commitment to the environment. Where would we be if there was no snow on the mountains, the sea was filled with oil and the parks and skate ramps where destroyed due to a lack of concern. Help us make sure this reality never happens...
