DescriptionThe Afterburner is a semi-fish, with just enough width and thickness to increase glide and paddling speed significantly without surfing flat like a standard fish. The slightly lower rocker compliments the width and thickness increases, and gives the 'on rail' drive to better harness the speed and maneuverability of the loose planeshape. The full length double concave combines with the softer front rail gives this board lift and speed with total forgiveness. The harder rail near the tail creates the grip giving this design more range than any standard fish. If you are looking for a one board quiver you can not go wrong by selecting this model. my surfboard is too fragile. it is broking in decks. the board isn`t well shape in fish tail.

I've not had a chance to get it out in anything bigger than 2ft slop but it got going immediately in that which gives me a lot of hope for when something bigger comes along. super fast board, super light, can't wait to get a good crack at it.

Haven't had a chance to surf it in anything other than 2 ft onshore high tide mushy backing off beach break yet, caught stacks of waves tho!. felt short for 6'10" , coming off a 6'8" didn't feel much different! Lovely and light though

Arrived just in time for a weeks worth of swell and has handled 2ft mush to head-high clean spankers admirably. A nice board, surfs fluidly and the lighter SLX finish seems tougher than traditional glassing.
