The entire Xcel suit is made from a super stretchy neoprene, while the wetsuits front chest zip means both high performance stretch in the upper body and less water entry around the neck. By removing the zip from the back panel, your shoulders move more freely when paddling meaning less fatigue whilst surfing which in turn will help keep you in the water for longer. The X-Zip2 entry system has become a firm favourite amongst well seasoned surfers and is a real must try, highly recommended by us here at MSW. The seams of the suit are lined on the inside with Xcel’s flexible “Fusion” tape which stops water from penetrating through the seams, preventing flushing and keeping you warmer. This tape also increases the durability and strength of the seams which means your wetsuit has added durability. Having kept water out, the Xcel Infiniti wetsuit then adds warmth with a full length polypro lining. This stretches right down to the knee from the upper body and works by wicking moisture away from your skin. Suit was too large, unfortunately, so had to send it back in, but service was impeccable. Our mail-man is kind rough on packages, so sometimes suits arrive creased, but, upon request, the folks at MSW packed the suit in a sturdy box. Suit arrived without any creases.
