Ocean &Earth's popular double compact range has now been expanded into the wider fish board style, this bag is perfect if you want to take two boards away and at least one of them is a wide fish shaped board.

It has an expanded tail wedge to accommodate wide tails and glassed on fins if necessary, the internal divider is permanently stitched into the bag to make it easy to slide the two boards in and out.

There are compression straps at the tail to make sure it's not taking up any extra space, and one side is made from the reflective silver material to keep your board cool.

The bag has 10mm padding throughout.

If you are not sure which board bag is best for you we have written a surfboard bag guide which talks you through the options.

  • Protective nose piece: Because airport baggage handlers can be rough.
  • Three layers of protection: Side 1 (Top layer): 420 nylon dobby, side 2 (bottom layer) silver reflective honeycomb nylon 2nd layer: shock absorbing foam 3rd layer: tarpee lining.

  • Hook: Removable storage hook.
  • Heavy duty zips: Large, non-corrosive nylon zips.
  • Detachable shoulder strap: Easily detaches for use on roof rax systems and plane travel.
  • Aircon ventilation: O&E's tried and tested aircon ventilation system.

This bag is brilliant - it took my 22.5" wide 5'9 with twin glass-on fins plus my 5'8 Dharma or 5'5 board (with fins removed). The bag is really well made and padded, but the main thing is that if you've a couple of short and wide boards this bag will probably take them. It's the first bag I've found that my Twin-Pin has fitted nicely into and it's really good, thick protection for your super-precious sticks!

Good service! Very fast. No further feedback. The boardbag is great for traveling two boards in it and looks strong. It is however very very wide, so if you have a 21 width you still have space left. Thanks!

Nice travel solution, good quality, thick enough but still good to handle. Comparing to the Double FCS Bag it is slightly thinner on outlines but providing extra Inches for fishboards etc. Would buy it again!

Well designed and made. Got a small crack on the rail on my outbound flight despite double thickness padding on the sides, suspect it would have been worse with a cheaper bag. Pockets for fins/wax and the Velcro shoulder strap is a good idea with its own pocket once detached.

Bag has some good features and seems well designed. That said, I still feel that some of the padding could be thicker. Sadly, Ive found the reflective silver material on one side is not very robust and tears very easily. After a couple of plane journeys, the bag has several slashes in it so I will need a new one.

Questions

How much padding is in this bag? Would it be suitable for plane luggage?
This is a 10mm padded bag, it will be suitable for taking on a plane, we'd always recommend adding extra padding to your boards, especially around the nose and tail.
Color : NAVY or BLACK ??
These bags are navy in colour
Hi, I am after double bag for a 6' shortbaiord and 5'9" fishish around 19.5" wide. Will they fit this bag or should I go narrower?
I would choose this in 6ft http://store.magicseaweed.com/Ocean-Earth-Double-Compact-Shortboard-Bag/Item/18482/6ft0/64396/
Hi, how much does the shipping to germany cost?
Shipping to Germany will be 45
When will you have the 6'8 back in stock? Thank you.
It will be arriving again sometime towards the end of March 2014
Hi, will this fit a mini nose-rider: 6"10 x 21 3/4 x 2 3/4?
The 7'2" bag will have enough space for the board but it will have excess space around the nose and tail.
Hi, board is 7'2'' (around 218 cm long) , 21, 2 7/8 ..does it fit in?
The maximum width for the 7'2" bag is 25" so your board should fit in the bag.
Hi ! I got a really wide board. Its 6.0 ; 23 1/4 ; 2 7/8 In which sizes of the board bag will it fit? thx
The maximum width of all the Double Compact Fish Surfboard Bags is 25" and the smallest size is 6 foot long so it will fit in any of these bags.
Hi, I have a 5'10 fish and an 6'8 egg and I am wondering if I take the 6'8 bag or the 7'2 knowing that I like adding bubble wrap, cardboard (...) to protect nose, tail and rails? Will I have enough room for this extra protection in the 6'8 bag? Thanks a lot, Romain
We'd recommend going for the bigger bag if you have a wide nosed egg and you'd like to add plenty of padding.
Hi, would this Boardbag in 7.2 fit a 7.0 Takayama Scorpion? Thanks
I can't find the stock dimensions of the 7'0" Scorpion, but based on the 7'2" Scorpions that we have in stock the 7'2" bag should be a good fit for the 7'0" board, if it's a custom with extra width you might struggle.
Could you please give me the outer measurements of the 6'0 bag. I am going with british airways and they accept maximum 190 cm x 75 cm x 65 cm. Thanks!
hi, they are approx 194cm x 60cm x 20cm
